Following last year's Revolution EP, Ion Driver returns to Ricochet with a collection of driving yet subtle crisp sound sculptures in this latest Addictech.com Exclusive!
Dennis Bunton's production skills are of the highest caliber, and this new EP for Ricochet gives a flavor of what to expect from Ion Driver's regular live performances throughout the deserts of his native California.
A collaboration with Joby from Mad-Tek (Digital Distortions) kicks things off, built around understated drops reminiscent of Trentemøller's early work. Two contrasting interpretations of a live hang drum performance follow, one a hypnotic peacetime electro roller, the other a delicate burst of organic euphoria for sunrise. The collection is completed with a deep remix by Tokyo's Kawatin, fresh from his recent EP on Glack Audio.
Check out this wicked new release from another flavor of the California bass revolution!
