ADDICTECH.COM EXCLUSIVE : BASS SCIENCE : PSYCHEDELIC AMERICAN BOYHOOD : MADE IN GLITCH

Psychedelic American Boyhood is the latest Bass Science release on Made In Glitch. Bass Science is Matt B, a producer whose eclectic sound has been cultivated from a wide range of influences, from his homes in London and Japan to Los Angeles, and many places between.

This release is taking Matt B’s big love for melodic synth lines, lush stabs and epic drops, bringing it to another strength: inclusiveness. It’s fairly easy to identify the stylistic nods to dubstep, electro, R’n’B and hip-hop.

The title track is a clear example of evolving synth progressions mixed with the heaviness of what we all except from a dubstep track. So is "Be Still and Know" the second cut of this EP, rocking clunking, dirty bass breaks pinned between soaring synthesizers.

“Starglide” possibly the most chilled track in this release, combining a groovy beat with an evolving psy bassline. Matt B called in label homie High Top Kicks to perform the vocal for the next track in this release "Eating Elephants" where pop and dubstep seem to effortlessly share same territories. “Mono Sweetheart” starts in the chill out realm but eventually turns into funky breakbeats. “In My Life” is the kicker. A brisk build of synth arpeggios runs into a thunderous drum and bass drop which continues unabated. “Crazy World” sees a collaboration with London based MC Mikey Murka of the legendary Unity Sound System, and it is a heavy reggae influenced dub hop affair. "Live Forever" winks at those 80s rnb melodies, and the closing track is a refix of "Be Still And Know"

Also included in the release are remixes by artist that are not new to the Made In Glitch fanbase: SOunduo, Unlimited  Gravity, HAMM F.M., +Verb , Mesca, and Viscount
