Griff
is back with his second EP this year for Adapted! “So it Goes” takes
you once more to a place of melodious dreamscapes and contenting
compositions. It's now available only at Addictech.com!
Kicking off with “Basic Original Theories”, the first track transgresses through a deep bassline and seamless instrumental progressions through to a squelchy, heavenly climax. “Crinkle” then steers in to a warped atmospheric plane, driving forward with smooth low-end synthesis and crisp percussion that floats through every nerve of the body in a blissful manner, before “Dust and Light” thrusts the listener into a cross-continental boogie, smoothly merging fresh sound design with gliding sitar sounds and a floor-rattling beat. The release reaches an aptly named crescendo with “The Cycle”, a smooth flowing dub ballad that could make the busiest bee stop and think for a few minutes, with thought inspiring note patterns gliding insatiably over that trademark percussive crunch that has made this talented composer stand out.
